Wapisa Pinot Noir is produced in the Río Negro region of Patagonia, Argentina, at a winery located just 25 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The name "Wapisa" comes from the indigenous Patagonian word for "whale," reflecting the winery's proximity to the sea. The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown at the "Los Acantilados Estate" vineyard, situated 100 meters above sea level.
